It is not necessary to go to the end of the
world to meet many sharks, reef sharks as well as hammerhead
sharks, albimarginatus, silky sharks...
Dive site not often visited yet, although divers are come
since more 20 years, the Sudanese coasts offer to you the
Red Sea treasures. The numerous reefs that line the Sudan
see the passage of the great figures of the deep sea and are
a house for a very rich coral life.
Memorable dives await
you from Port-Sudan. Discover them aboard Le
Baron Noir.
The numerous sharks of Sha'ab Rumi swim with schools of
barracudas and bump parrot fishes. The meetings with
hammerhead sharks are always possible there and at the foot
of Sanganeb lighthouse.
Sudan has a rich reef's life as well as submarine
history: The Commandant Cousteau has chosen it to settle his
"houses under the sea" at the time of the Precontinent II
experiment in 1963. The Umbria, Italian ship scuttled in
1940 when Italy got into war is a magnificent wreck today.
Follow the guide to discover engine-room, bombs and
ammunitions freights, under the inquisitive look of the
Arabian angel fishes.
